Overview

Places Scout saves ranking and reputation report data to files that are stored locally on the computer that Places Scout is installed on.

As we all know, sometimes computers crash or you get a virus, and all data on the hard drive is lost. To ensure that important ranking and reputation report data is not lost in this catastrophic scenario, we advise our users to create periodic backup files of their ranking and reputation report data files and transfer these files to a backup thumb or hard drive. That way in the case that you lose all your data, you can easily restore a backup of your Ranking / Reputation Report data in Places Scout with no loss of data.
