There is a feature to bulk import client data and automatically create ranking reports from this data. If you goto the track local rankings section, there is a More button, under there is an option to Bulk Import Client Data.|
You can bulk import your client data from a CSV file, please see the attached template file that you can use to import client data. The CSV file you generate must follow this format, and its flexible so you can have as many keyword / location columns you need. You can create this file manually or export the data from your CRM if it supports custom data exports in the format of the attached CSV file.
The CSV file must be formatted as follows, use the attached template as an example.
All row entries must have at least one keyword and location. Add in more keyword / location columns as necessary.
Once you have the CSV file made, use the bulk import feature, on the left there are options to choose how many keyword, location, and emulated columns there are in your CSV file. Set those values properly to the number of respective columns in your CSV File (i.e. x, y and z)…and then click the Preview button on the left…If all the data is formatted properly, you will see a preview in the grid. Review the data in the grid to make sure its correct. Lastly, you can select search term variations to use for each report using the button on the left.
Once all is good in the preview, click the ‘Create Client Ranking Reports from Imported Data’ button to create the reports. A ranking report will be created from each row’s data as entered in the CSV file.
You can then bulk run all reports in one shot using the ‘More’ button there is an option to bulk run all reports, and you can bulk export them as well. I have people who manage ranking reports for 1000+ clients with Places Scout using these features.
