I get an error message when trying to create a client report

Problem: When selecting a Report and clicking "Update Report Preview", you get an error message stating:


"Error Generating Client HTML Report: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming...."

Reason: This is a known bug in Version 2.2.2. The reason this is happening is because there is no 'Client Reports' directory created in the Places Scout temp data folder.


Solution: To fix, please perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Places Scout's temporary data directory. It will look like:

    C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Places Scout

    (NOTE: Replace <user> with your Window's username in the above path)

  2. In that directory, create a new folder, and name it: Client Reports
  3. After creating the above directory in the stated folder, you should be able to create a client report.
